WHAT IS SYPIK BORN FOR?

I have to share that many people have asked this question to the Sypik team, but recently, when Sypik turned 5 years old, we have had a clear and confident answer to this question.

“Sypik was born with the desire to become a symbol of the RESPONSIBLE ENTERPRISE model by both doing business systematically and profitably, and bringing practical and long-term values ​​to customers, employees, partners, communities, society and shareholders.”

Sypik was founded in January 2023 by Dzung Chu (CEO), Linh (CTO) and Trang (CMO), starting with a small 30m2 factory and a rudimentary sales website, with basic racket and accessory products for Pickleball. After 1 year, today Sypik has grown significantly.

Sypik still manufactures and sells Pickleball rackets and accessories, and has also expanded into many other products that cater to the needs of Pickleball players such as sportswear, racket bags, and balls.

And we certainly won’t stop there. Sypik will expand its products and services around the needs of Pickleball players. So don’t be surprised if one day you find a special collection of rackets, modern accessories, or sports health care products on our website.

Sypik has also seen rapid growth in sales and has attracted the attention of many large investment funds, providing a solid financial foundation for the next steps.

SYPIK CUSTOMER SERVICE STORY

According to a recent survey conducted by Sypik, 51% of customers decide to shop at Sypik because they are impressed with the customer service. 94% of customers are willing to recommend Sypik to others.

At Sypik, we believe that selling a Pickleball racket is not just about selling a product, but providing a comprehensive shopping experience. Sypik hopes to become a typical brand of customer care in Vietnam, contributing to changing the perception of businesses about bringing a better experience to customers, especially in the Pickleball field.

Sypik is the first brand to produce Pickleball rackets and accessories in Vietnam. We have built a process of exchanging and receiving returned goods at customers’ homes, even regularly sending new products to customers before recalling old products. The good news is that recently many shipping units have offered this service and it is more popular among online sellers.

Packing a Pickleball racket with a “Double Box” was also pioneered by Sypik 1 year ago, and has now become more popular with many other brands.

THE STORY OF THE RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS MODEL SYPIK IS AIMING FORWARD

#1. WITH CUSTOMERS

Sypik expects to deliver better quality products thanks to its supply chain management model from the source. Sypik has partners on a global scale, and the quality of raw materials meets high standards in the sports equipment manufacturing industry, comparable to large and long-standing brands.

In addition, the direct sales model (Ecommerce D2C) allows Sypik to invest more in production instead of having to continuously cut costs like traditional models. In fact, customers will see that the quality of Sypik products has improved significantly in recent years and will certainly improve further in the future.

#2. WITH COOLMATE STAFF

Sypik hopes to build an open organization, a dynamic environment with a distinct culture. There, young people will develop their full potential and receive appropriate compensation. In addition to salary, Sypik employees also receive annual ESOPs (equity awards) if they make good contributions.

#3. WITH PARTNER SYPIK

Sypik operates in the sports equipment manufacturing industry, a field in which Vietnam has strengths, but the lives of workers are often not guaranteed well enough. Reducing processing costs to increase product competitiveness is a strategy applied by big brands. Sypik wants to change that by always trying to pay more to workers where possible, and requiring partners to pay insurance for workers.

In addition, Sypik also has many activities to support workers such as taking care of F0, supporting during periods of unemployment, or pursuing a quality production model instead of a low-cost one. Sypik hopes to contribute to changing the perception of brands about the relationship with factories and the lives of workers. The cheap labor model of the sports equipment manufacturing industry is not a sustainable model and has no long-term value in the future.

#4. WITH THE COMMUNITY

Sypik strives to expand, create more jobs and pay taxes fully as a contribution to the overall development of society.

Sypik’s view on doing activities to contribute to the community is: “A business does not need to be big to be able to do meaningful things.” Therefore, Sypik has opened the project “Pickleball for All” with the goal of supporting disadvantaged children in Vietnam since the company was established for 1 year. Surely in the future, this project will be promoted and supported even more.
